Join a fun training group for the upcoming Bend Half Marathon on April 22nd, 2018! If you would like to run your first half marathon, take part in a consistent fitness program, set a PR, or just want to train with a great group of people, this training group is for you! Learn about running form, proper training, injury prevention, nutrition, and more in a fun and supportive environment.
This group will be coached by the dynamic duo of Tracy Huettl and Madison Salyer.
We recommend that interested runners be comfortable running at least 5 miles once a week, and at least 3 miles another 2-3 days per week. First time half marathoners and speed demons alike are welcome!
Two group workouts are provided. The Saturday 8am session includes a short informational clinic, followed by that week’s long run. The Wednesday session meets at 6pm and is generally a 3-5 mile run. All sessions meet at FootZone unless otherwise notified.
Training group registration is $100 on or before 1/12/18, $110 after 1/12/18. Group members will receive a code for a reduced price registration for the Bend Half Marathon after registration for the training group is complete. Race registration is non-refundable.
TRAINING GROUP REFUND POLICY: Unfortunately, injuries happen. We will refund 75% of your entry fee through February 16, 2018 (without tee/socks, etc) or 50% of your entry fee through February 23, 2018. No refunds after February 23, 2018.
