The Walk to End Alzheimer’s is the largest fundraising event in the region in support of people with Alzheimer’s Disease and their loved ones throughout Central Oregon. Registration is FREE, though donations and fundraising is encouraged. The Walk to End Alzheimer’s allows the Alzheimer’s Association to provide its services at no cost to those in need, in addition to funding research to find a cure for this currently incurable disease that impacts more than 63,000 Oregonians and 5 million people across the country. The Walk starts and ends at Riverbend Park and follows an approximately 2 mile route along the banks of the Deschutes River.
