A Walking Group for Cancer Survivors and their Caregivers
October 7 – November 23, 2017.
This class is FREE for cancer survivors and their caregivers. FootZone and St. Charles invite cancer survivors and their family members to regain their fitness through the gentle exercise of walking. We meet Saturdays at 10:30 am and slowly increase the amount of time we spend walking over 7 weeks, from 20 minutes to a full 5k! With your coach, FootZoner Michelle Poirot, we’ll discuss proper form, stretching, appropriate clothing, and hydration. All paces are welcome and accommodated. Trail Half Marathon Training Group August 26 – October 28, 2017
Join a fun training group for the upcoming Silver Falls Half Marathon on November 5th, 2017 or the Happy Girls Run Sisters on November 4th, 2017. If you are able to run 3-5 miles at least 3 times per week and would like to run your first trail half marathon, take part in a consistent fitness program, set a PR, or just want to train with a great group of people, this training group is for you! Learn about running form, proper training, injury prevention, nutrition, and more in a fun and supportive environment.
All sessions meet at FootZone on Saturdays at 8:00am unless otherwise notified. Labor Day weekend class is optional – a workout will be provided for runners who cannot attend.
You will be able to register at a reduced rate for either race when you register for the training group. Race registration is non-refundable.
TRAINING GROUP REFUND POLICY: Unfortunately, injuries happen. We will refund 75% of your entry fee through September 1, 2017 (without tee/socks, etc) or 50% of your entry fee through September 8, 2017. No refunds after September 8, 2017.
