A Walking Group for Cancer Survivors and their Caregivers
June 24 – July 29, 2017.
This class is FREE for cancer survivors and their caregivers. FootZone and St. Charles invite cancer survivors and their family members to regain their fitness through the gentle exercise of walking. We meet Saturdays at 10:00 am and slowly increase the amount of time we spend walking over 7 weeks, from 20 minutes to a full 5k! With your coach, FootZoner Michelle Poirot, we’ll discuss proper form, stretching, appropriate clothing, and hydration. All paces are welcome and accommodated. Dirty Half Marathon Training Group
April 22 – June 3, 2017
Join a fun training group for the upcoming Dirty Half Marathon on June 11, 2017. If you are able to run 4-6 miles at least 3 times per week and would like to run your first trail half marathon, take part in a consistent fitness program, set a PR, or just want to train with a great group of people, this training group is for you! Early bird registration is $55 on or before 4/07/17. After 4/07, registration is $65.
FootZone has teamed up with Courtney Drewsen at Travel iN Fitness to help you achieve your running goals through this 8-week program. Courtney and a great team of Mentors will be coaching this group. Learn about running form, proper training, injury prevention, nutrition and more in a fun, positive, and supportive environment. All sessions meet at FootZone on Saturdays at 8:00am unless otherwise notified.
Participants receive a tech tee, training plan, individualized attention in a group setting, 10% discount at FootZone while session is active, lots of FootZone fun, and more!
REFUND POLICY: Unfortunately, injuries happen. We will refund 75% of your entry fee through April 28, 2017 (without tee/socks, etc) or 50% of your entry fee through May 5th, 2017. No refunds after May 5th, 2017. Questions? Email Courtney at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 214-763-9985.
