March 3, 2018 – April 14, 2018
IntroRUN is ideal for those looking to learn the basics of running, start a consistent fitness program, or just train for a 5k with a great group of people. Learn about running form, breathing, warm ups, nutrition, and gear in a fun and supportive environment. Runners receive a tech tee, training calendar, individualized attention in a group setting, FootZone fun, and more! This session will prepare you for the Bend 5K on April 22, 2018.

Two group workouts are provided.  The Saturday 8am session includes a short informational clinic, followed by that week’s scheduled run.  The Wednesday session meets at 6pm and is generally a run, only.

Registration is $80.

IntroRUN registrants will receive a code that allows you to register for the Bend 5K at a reduced rate.  Race registration is non-refundable.

REFUND POLICY: Unfortunately, injuries happen. We will refund 75% of your entry fee through March 9, 2018 (without tee/socks, etc) or 50% of your entry fee through March 16, 2018. No refunds after March 16, 2018.

March 3, 2018 – April 14, 2018

Are you a 5K runner looking to mix it up a little bit?  Need to add some more variety to your running workouts?  Are you ready to boost your mileage and want some company for those miles?  Become a better runner in FootZone’s 10K Training Group!  While you’re safely building mileage, you’ll also learn about different kinds of workouts that will make you a stronger, faster, more resilient runner, about nutrition specific to longer distances, about efficient running form, warm ups and cool downs, shoes and gear, and more.

Marla Hacker, a frequent FootZone training group participant and mentor, will be your coach.  The 10K Training Group that will be preparing for the Bend 10K on April 22, 2018.

A Walking Group for Cancer Survivors and their Caregivers
Starting April 2018.

This class is FREE for cancer survivors and their caregivers.  FootZone and St. Charles invite cancer survivors and their family members to regain their fitness through the gentle exercise of walking. We meet Saturdays at 10:30 am and slowly increase the amount of time we spend walking over 7 weeks, from 20 minutes to a full 5k! With your coach, FootZoner Michelle Poirot, we’ll discuss proper form, stretching, appropriate clothing, and hydration. All paces are welcome and accommodated. Half Marathon Training Group
February 10 – April 14, 2018

Join a fun training group for the upcoming Bend Half Marathon on April 22nd, 2018!  If you would like to run your first half marathon, take part in a consistent fitness program, set a PR, or just want to train with a great group of people, this training group is for you! Learn about running form, proper training, injury prevention, nutrition, and more in a fun and supportive environment.

We recommend that interested runners be comfortable running at least 5 miles once a week, and at least 3 miles another 2-3 days per week.

Two group workouts are provided.  The Saturday 8am session includes a short informational clinic, followed by that week’s long run.  The Wednesday session meets at 6pm and is generally a 3-5 mile run.

All sessions meet at FootZone unless otherwise notified.

Training group registration is $100.  Group members will receive a code for a reduced price registration for the Bend Half Marathon after registration for the training group is complete. Race registration is non-refundable.

FootZone Marathon Training Group

January 6 – April 14, 2018
Coached by Dan Rhodes, this 15 week training group will prepare you for the Bend Marathon which occurs on April 22, 2018 or the Eugene Marathon occurring on April 28, 2018. Instruction will be provided on good running form, nutrition, injury prevention, gear, and more in a fun and supportive environment with other folks as excited about taking on the challenge of a marathon as you are. Participants receive a tech tee, training plan, individualized attention in a group setting, a 10% discount at FootZone while the session is active, lots of FootZone fun, and more!

To join this group, you should be able to comfortably complete an 6-8 mile run and be running at least 3 times per week.

Two group workouts are provided. The Saturday 8am session includes a short informational clinic, followed by that week’s long run. The Wednesday session meets at 6pm and is generally a 3-7 mile run.

Registration is $150 on or before 12/23/18 and $170 after 12/24.  Register online.

Group members will receive a code for a reduced price registration for the Bend Half Marathon after registration for the training group is complete. Registration for the Bend Marathon is non-refundable.

REFUND POLICY: Unfortunately, injuries happen. We will refund 75% of your entry fee through January 12 (without tee) or 50% through January 19, 2018. No refunds after January 19, 2018.
