I Like Pie Run/Walk

More Information

Thanksgiving is here. Let us gather, run, eat pie and rally some $$ and food for Neighbor Impact. I Like Pie is an UNTIMED fun run/walk to get you outdoors for some exercise before you strap on the feedbag and revel in the holiday!

Cost: Suggested donation of $5 and 5 lbs. of food for NeighborImpact.

Pie: Bring along a pie to help feed the masses. You can choose to enter it in the pie baking contest or not. Prizes will be awarded for the top 3 pies in both the “traditional” and “open” pie category. Thank you to the Bend High Culinary Program for running the Pie Contest again this year (there will still be celebrity judges).

Food Drive: Please bring your 5 lbs of food for Neighbor Impact on the morning of the event. We will have a collection trailer behind the Tower Theater. Last year we managed 5500 lbs of food and are hoping to top that this year!

Shirts: All T-shirts ordered on or before 11/19/14 will be available for pick up at FootZone Wednesday between 10-7, or you may pick them up the morning of the event starting at 8am. Most t-shirts ordered after 11/19 will also be available at the same time and we have most sizes available for purchase. You are still welcome to order shirts when we run out but they will not be available until December 13th at FootZone. Cost for T-shirts is $15 after 11/19.

Additional Donations: We'll have a jar at the event if you'd like to make an additional financial donation to Neighbor Impact.

Where/when: Riverfront Plaza in front of Crows Feet Commons, 875 NW Brooks St. Shirt pick-up starts at 8am. Run/walk starts at 9am.

Course: Out and back on the 1st Street River Trail, starting and finishing behind the TowerTheater. We'll mark the turnaround for 2K, 5K and 10K. The 10 mile turnaround is the green gate at the end of the trail. Remember, this will be an untimed event.
