The FootZone is proud to be Central Oregon's Running and Walking store since 1995. We've only been able to grow and thrive by helping new runners and walkers get into fitness. You need a place to start, so we created the Learn to Run program. Once you've begun your fitness program, we're here to keep you going. We know how important it is to have the right fit and a shoe that is appropriate for your foot. It's what we do every day - we have fun with it and we'd love to help you out. Our job is to make you comfortable in both your shoes and our shop. Come by and visit us.
"Before taking the Learn to Run clinic through the FootZone, my running program consisted of me running to my car from my house when it rained. It was a tough program, but I stuck to it! I decided to sign up for the clinic on a whim - and then I almost didn't take it. I was scared and nervous. I was pretty sure that I would be the slowest person there and was afraid of looking like an idiot. I can't tell you how relieved I was after the first class. Everyone was encouraged to go at their own speed and there seemed to be several people at every speed. No one was by themselves.
When I started the clinic, I was a walker who would occasionally throw a two-minute run into my workout. Now, I run several times a week for 40 minutes straight, have completed a few 5K's and am planning on doing a 10K. A big thanks to Connie, Allison and everyone at the FootZone for the opportunity. It has been amazing!" -Stacy Case
