This is a first year event and will be the host of the USATF National Championships for the 50k distance. Taking place on trails that have never been raced on in Central Oregon. A good mix of dirt road and some high country singletrack, this event will sure meet the challenge of the ultra crowd. With roughly 3,500 feet of elevation gain this course will give all who complete it a sense of accomplishment and probably some tired  legs. A portion of the proceeds from this race will go to Central Oregon Trail Alliance (COTA) - who are responsible for making and maintaining many of the trails we all recreate on throughout the year here in Central Oregon.
